Upload images on Photopedia is possible following the Upload file link located inside the navigation box.

[edit] Image Requirements
- .jpg / .jpeg , .png , .gif file formats supported
- 150 Kb (153600 bytes) is the max image size supported
- Copyright authorization
Every uploaded image must be followed by a copyright license template which describes the policy about the image.
Every image without a copyright Template will be immediately deleted from the Photopedia database

Please to help us to grow up this project use only images with copyright permission. A copyright violation may generate legal problem in Photopedia developing. Many different license types exist. Photopedia allows you to use all image under Public Domain , GNU Free Documentation License , and your own work.

A public domain work is a free realesed work. Anyone can copy, edit and use a work under Public Domain license.
[edit] GNU Free Documentation License
A GNU Free Documentation License work is a copyrighted work. The owner reserves all rights about the work allowing you to use his work provided that the author is mentionated. The original license text is available at http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/fdl.html

If you publish an image of your own you must provide the type of licence you want to assign.

Every image must be followed by a copyright Template. You have to choose one of the followings, then you must insert it in the Summary box before uploading the image.
- For Public Domain image insert {{PD}}
- For Image under GFDL insert {{GFDL|$Author|$WebsiteURL}}
- For Image authorized to be published in Photopedia insert {{P|$Author|$AuthorizationSubject/Headline}}
- For Own work published as Public Domain insert {{OW-PD|$YourName}}
- For Own work published under GFDL insert {{OW-GFDL|$YourName}}
- For Own work published only in Photopedia insert {{OW-P|$YourName}}
Every item beginning with a $ symbol must be substitute with the relevant information.

If you want to upload a copyrighted work, please, contact the owner in advance to achieve the publish license.

[edit] Inform us about your license
As soon as you achieved the permission to use the image from the author, you have to inform us about that. Thus you have to report here the text of the e-mail allowing you to publish the image.
